I grew up in the forests, in a small village outside Trondheim, Norway. My dream was to become a veterinarian or an artist. During my childhood my grandmothers were my big influences for choosing a creative path in life. I got my education at the Oslo Met; BA Teacher Training in Art and Design. I have also studied Contemporary Studio Art at Metàfora, Barcelona. After that I’ve been self-taught. Apart from creating art, I also work as an art teacher, and am currently based in Melhus, Norway.

I work in different fields; mostly painting at the moment, but also photography, illustration, mixed media and installation. My work is often conceptual and personal, whether I hide it or invite the viewer into the world. As a free spirit I like taking different paths guided by my intuition. I will always continue experimenting on how to express myself, or sometimes it can just be about developing a technique. I enjoy embracing the whole process.

My inspirations are passionate and unique people, moments that stop time, details, weirdness, nature, travels, stories and the inner and spiritual world. I’m also interested in the connection between art and poetry and words. And how each person got their individual look on an art piece, created by their feelings, perception and interpretation in that moment.

I want to sweep everything that awakens my creativity.
